Learning outcomes
PR03. Plan, perform, analyze data and present the results of experimental research in the field of biology. PR12. Demonstrate knowledge of the structure, vital processes and functions of living organisms, understand the mechanisms of regulation of physiological functions to maintain homeostasis of biological systems. PR14. Analyze the interactions of living organisms of different levels of phylogenetic kinship with each other, the peculiarities of the influence of various factors on living organisms and evaluate their role in biospheric processes of transformation of substances and energy. PR25. Solve specific applied problems of biology using appropriate methods PR27.11. Calculate, analyze and interpret physiological indicators that reflect reactive and adaptive changes in the human body to various influences and workloads.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of courses - "physiology and anatomy of man and animals", "physiology of blood and respiration", "biochemistry", "cytology". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of cytology, biochemistry, physiology and anatomy, etc. disciplines, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Possess basic skills in systems analysis and laboratory work.
Course content
In this discipline, the cardiovascular system is considered as an independent component of the body and a component of the cardio-respiratory system, which has connections with the blood system, respiratory and nervous systems. Methods of cardiovascular research and hemodynamics can be used in both related and interdisciplinary sciences. Knowledge gained from the discipline "Physiology of Circulation" can be used in research of physiological sciences (basics of pathological physiology, physiology of crises, physiology of ontogenesis, physiology of regional circulation, etc.) and in other sciences (pharmacology, biochemistry, etc.).
