The course is devoted to in-depth theoretical study of the basics of fluorescence analysis, the use of fluorescence spectroscopy in biochemical and medical research. The peculiarities of the structure of the main types of fluorescent probes and the principles of their use in practice are considered in detail; ways to register the analytical signal and improve the metrological characteristics of the methods. Particular attention is paid to the development of practical skills in the use of fluorescent probes to determine analytes of different nature.

The evaluation is based on a 100-point system. Semester control includes control works and home practical works. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester assessment is 60 points / 36 points. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student on the exam is 40 points / 24 points.
