Know: the theoretical foundations of social work and other fields of the social sciences and humanities.
Conceptual and paradigmatic aspects of scientific research in the social sphere.
Be able to: determine the methodology of applied scientific research and apply methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis of results.
Justify the general philosophical foundations of methodology.
Communication: Use foreign sources when carrying out tasks related to research and applied activities; express oneself in a foreign language both orally and in writing.
Summarize the results of one’s own research and publish them in the form of academic reports (abstracts, articles, presentations, etc.).
Autonomy: master the organizational and practical aspects of scientific research in the social sciences.
Utilize intellectual property sources and apply interpretation in scientific and applied research
Course content
The main objectives of the course is to equip higher education students with the fundamentals of methodology, the general philosophical foundations of scientific inquiry, the conceptual and paradigmatic aspects of social research, the practical aspects of scientific research, and the foundations and principles of intellectual property.
The course «Methodology and Organization of Scientific Research with Fundamentals of Intellectual Property» is a required course in the curriculum for the “Social Pedagogy” program.
The subject of the discipline is the content and structure of methodology in the social sphere, as well as the rationale and development of an algorithm for scientific research by students of the "Master's" educational level.

Final test (MC): max 10 / min 7 points.
The credit is awarded based on the student’s performance throughout the semester (maximum total for semester work – 100 points).
