            A mandatory requirement for studying the course is to have knowledge of personality psychology, age psychology, and deviant behavior psychology. It is also desirable that students have basic knowledge of pathopsychology, Narcology, medical psychology, as well as legislation on the provision of social services in general and social support in particular.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The purpose of the discipline is that students should master knowledge about the essence of social and pedagogical support of the family, its principles, tasks, forms, methods and algorithm of actions of a specialist in social pedagogy in working with the family.
Social and pedagogical support of the family is an important component of social work with the family, which needs social and psychological assistance. 
The discipline highlights theoretical and methodological approaches to working with a family that cannot independently solve its own problems, reveals the essence of social and pedagogical support of the family, its varieties, principles and tasks, the sequence of actions of a social worker in the process of establishing facts about the need to assign social support and develop a plan for further work with the family.

Assessment forms: the level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of writing written test papers. 
discipline ends with credit.
During the semester, after completing the relevant topics, thematic written control works with open questions are conducted. For students who have not reached the minimum milestone level of assessment (60% of the maximum possible number of points) during the semester, the final semester control work is conducted, the maximum score for which can not exceed 40% of the final assessment (up to 40 points on a 100 – point scale). 
The condition for obtaining a positive final assessment in the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points.
