Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages of the development of ethical thought; basic ethical and philosophical concepts and categories, characteristics of the main provisions of ethical systems and the corresponding value and normative programs; basic methods of philosophical and ethical research, methods of psychology in the analytical consideration of dilemma situations. 2. Be able to apply the basic methodology of imperative and value aspects of professional practice directly to dilemma problems of professional and corporate ethics; predict and foresee possible negative consequences. 3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research
Course content
The academic discipline consistently examines the features of the development and formation of professional and corporate ethics and their necessity in modern professional practices. The subject, tasks, theoretical foundations, methodologies, and main directions of professional ethics are determined. The features of using in-depth knowledge of legal and ethical norms when assessing the consequences of one's activities, developing and developing practical skills and decision-making skills on ethical behavior of specialists in dilemma situations of professional activity, as well as familiarization with codes of professional ethics are clarified. The features of mastering methods of analyzing these codes and their improvement, developing understanding and conviction regarding following the norms of professional ethics as a necessary condition for professional development are considered.

Assessment methods and criteria
The final score for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test. The credit is issued based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment measures. For students who have scored less points than the critical minimum of 60 points, in order to receive a credit, it is necessary to work out the missed topics in writing and submit/send them by e-mail to the teacher conducting the seminar classes. Thus, the final grade for the discipline (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) is made up of the sum of the points for the semester work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and the final test (minimum 12, maximum 20 points)
