Prerequisites and co-requisites
Internship requires a solid knowledge of the disciplines the student will be teaching. In turn, assistantship is important for acquiring teaching skills in higher education institutions.
Course content
Assistant practice allows you to acquire teaching skills, master the ability to prepare for classes of various types (lectures, practical, laboratory) and conduct them in a higher education institution. To pass the practice at a high level, on the one hand, a combination of theoretical knowledge, skills to solve problems in the relevant subject and perform laboratory ones is important. On the other hand, it is assumed that the student must master methodological techniques that allow conveying knowledge to other students. Passing the practice during the semester provides the opportunity to thoroughly prepare for individual classes, which is especially important when obtaining the first teaching experience in a higher education institution. The main base for passing the practice is the Faculty of Physics. The decision on the possibility of using another structural unit of KNU (or another higher education institution) as a practice base is made at a meeting of the Department of Astronomy and Space Physics before the student begins to perform the practice tasks
