Distance form

Internship requires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills acquired in courses of experimental and theoretical physics, special courses in astronomy and astrophysics. The student must know safety precautions when working with appropriate astronomical and physical equipment: computers, telescopes, electrical and optical equipment, measuring devices. In turn, the discipline “Scientific and industrial practice (without separation from theoretical training)” creates the prerequisites for further study in the master's degree, forms a general idea of ​​modern methods of physical and astronomical research and prepares the student for work in the specialty.

Academic and industrial practice is an educational component of a practical orientation (practical training) to consolidate theoretical knowledge and practical professional training, including for completing subsequent practices and writing a master's thesis

Scientific publications, reviews and articles in scientific journals relevant to the subject of the practice. Provided individually by the head of the practice base.

The internship is carried out individually under the guidance of a scientific supervisor.

Credit. The internship report is submitted after the internship period ends during a meeting of the Department of Astronomy and Space Physics. The report text, electronic presentation, and feedback from the internship site manager are required.
