            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            1) Knowledge: economic categories and laws of functioning of economic phenomena and processes at the micro and macro levels; fundamental sections of mathematics to the extent necessary for the application of economic and mathematical methods in the field of accounting, economic analysis and audit for management decisions; theoretical foundations of financial accounting, management accounting, economic analysis and management.
2) Ability: apply knowledge from the accounting and analytical range of disciplines to find unused reserves of the companies and determine the effectiveness of decision-making by stakeholders in relation to such entities; substantiate the effectiveness of decision-making using accounting and analytical information and understand the organizational and economic mechanism of the company’s management;
3) Skills: mastery of general scientific and special economic and mathematical methods of research of economic and social phenomena and processes in the company.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The discipline consists of two content modules:
- Content module 1, which is devoted to the theoretical foundations of strategic analysis, in particular to determine its essence, purpose, objectives, basic principles and methodological approaches. This module also discusses the main approaches to the valuation and management of intellectual capital as a key performance indicator of the company. In addition, this module aims to develop practical skills in the selection and application of methods of quantitative financial analysis in making strategic decisions in commercial agreements.
- Content module 2, aimed at developing practical skills of choosing and applying methods of strategic analysis related to the management of stocks, bonds, securities portfolio formation and management decisions using option spreads.

            The lessons are held in the form of lectures, practical classes and independent work. For this purpose, the following teaching methods are used: performance of analytical and calculation tasks, oral answer, analytical project, exam.
        
    
            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Evaluation scheme:
1) Execution of calculation and analytical tasks and oral answer (RN 1.1-1.9; 2.1-2.9; 3.1; 4.1) - 16 points / 10 points;
2) Independent work in the form of an analytical project with a SWOT-analysis of the business and determining the profile of the enterprise environment (RN 3.2; 4.1) - 20 points / 12 points;
3) Test (2 MCR max. 12 points each) (PH 1.1-1.9; 2.1-2.9; 3.1; 4.1) - 24 points / 14 points;
4) Exam - 40 points / 24 points.
