            Prerequisites and co-requisites

            1. Know the basic principles of functioning of economic systems at the micro and macro levels; elements of mathematical analysis, probability theory and mathematical statistics that are needed to solve economic problems.
2. Have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and presentation of statistical data, work with the regulatory framework.

            Course content

The course structure has two modules:
Content module 1. “Probability Theory” that discusses the basic concepts of probability theory, axioms of probability theory, discrete random variables, continuous random variables, limit theorems of probability theory.
Content module 2. "Case-oriented methods of solving economic modeling tasks", which examines examples and methodology of modeling economic processes.
