Learning outcomes
Achievement by students of various competencies, in particular, as: the ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis, the ability to search, process and analyze information on the subject of implementation and the protection of family rights from various sources; the ability to make informed decisions and give detailed legal arguments on family law issues; the ability to apply an interdisciplinary approach in the assessment of family legal phenomena and law enforcement activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the current family legislation of both Ukraine and foreign countries, special scientific literature, the recommended list of which is contained in this curriculum, as well as the judicial practice of resolving family disputes; To be able to operate freely with a conceptual and categorical apparatus when discussing and solving problem situations; apply norms in the field of regulation of family relations. Possess elementary skills in preparing draft court documents and using legal methods to resolve disputes arising from the violation of family rights.
Course content
Forms of teaching and methods of teaching this discipline are aimed at conducting an in-depth legal analysis of the provisions of family law in Ukraine, gaining students practical skills in solving complex legal problems in the field of family law, finding the most optimal ways to solve them, as well as developing and teaching special disciplines in educational institutions, the use of modern educational technologies and techniques. The course of the academic discipline provides for in-depth study by students of advanced techniques in the process of law-making and enforcement of family law institutes.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-study work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria
At the seminars, the current control of the student's knowledge in the academic discipline includes:. performance in the classroom - from 8 to 12 points; addition to the performance - from 4 to 8 points; significant questions to the speakers (discourse) - from 2 to 4 points; reports and scientific works - from 5 to 9 points; solution of the incident - from 5 to 7 points.
Subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the answer; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; homework results.
Seminar classes missed for valid reasons a student can work
A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final control may not be allowed to final assessment.
Final assessment: written exam or oral exam (with the possible use of information and communication technologies) (maximum score - 60)
