Learning outcomes
Students' achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as: knowledge of land law and land legislation of Ukraine; being able to apply knowledge of land law; analyzing and evaluating practical situations, coming to their own conclusions on resolving land law issues; demonstrating the ability to prove and defend their own position on land law issues; independently make and prove decisions on the legal regulation of land relations, taking into account the experience of solving practical situations and the existing practice of their solving.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
It is mandatory to preliminary 1. know the main provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Civil Code of Ukraine, the Criminal Code of Ukraine and other regulations that may be applied to the regulation of land relations; know the theory and history of law, doctrinal provisions of constitutional, administrative, civil, environmental and other branches of law, fundamental scientific works in these areas; as well as the basic rules of law enforcement. 2. Be able to correctly apply the provisions of regulations, resolve conflicts, justify their position with reference to the regulatory framework, and if necessary - doctrinal approaches; analyze judicial, administrative and other law enforcement practices and draw conclusions, resolve practical cases independently. 3. To have the following skills: interpretation of legal norms, conducting comparative legal research, application of normative legal acts in practice.
Course content
The discipline provides knowledge about land as an object of legal regulation, land law as a branch of law and science, sources of land law, land rights and responsibilities in land law, guarantees of their implementation, management and state regulation in this field, legal protection of lands, legal liability for land offenses, as well as knowledge of the legal regimes of lands of different categories.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching is carried out in the form of lectures, teacher’s clarification and group analysis of new material. Seminars provide preliminary independent preparation and include providing solutions for practical cases (tasks), reports on a given topic and their discussion, etc. Individual work includes finding ways to tackle an issue and perfection of the results in the prescribed form for presentation and analyzing them in class, preparing report papers and essays on a given topic.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of continuous control are selected in accordance with the program and include the following: evaluation of reports, supplements to the reports, quick questioning, writing reports and essays, modular tests. The teacher, who conducts seminars, sets the number of points scored out of continuous control points and puts them in the journals of student performance. If a student is absent at a seminar for good reasons, he / she may work out the missed class in extra-curricular classes (during the teacher's consultation hours) by means of oral interrogation or preparation of an abstract. According to the results of the missed lesson for good reasons, the teacher scores the points. Points are not awarded for missed classes which were not worked out. It is not allowed to make up the missed classes starting from 5 days prior examination period. The final amount of semester points is announced to students in the final class.
