PLO5.Conduct a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the functioning of the of the tourism market at different hierarchical levels, to predict trends in its of its development; PLO6: Analyse and evaluate the activities of of tourism market players, plan the results of their strategic development; PLO8: Manage processes in the subjects of of the tourism and recreation industry at different hierarchical levels, which are complex, unpredictable and complex, unpredictable and require new strategic approaches.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
"Urban tourism" or “city tourism” is an interdisciplinary discipline, as it integrates knowledge of urban studies, sociology, cultural studies, economics, architecture and other fields other fields, so it requires mastering the theoretical foundations, in particular tourismology, psychology and sociology of tourism, project management in tourism and geospatial planning and management in tourism and recreation, Sustainable Tourism Management, quality management of tourist destinations.
Course content
The discipline ‘Urbanism’ is focused on: - research of the uniqueness of urban spaces through the study of cultural, historical, architectural and social features of cities that create their uniqueness and attractiveness for tourists; - formation of urban tourist routes, including the development of routes and concepts that allow tourists to better understand the specifics of urban life, not limited to popular tourist locations); - support for sustainable tourism development with a focus on the preservation of urban landscapes and cultural values, as well as the development of tourism that takes into account environmental, social and economic aspects; - social integration between tourists and local residents, promoting cross cultural exchange and understanding; - development of creative industries through the use of urban tourism to to stimulate the local economy, support crafts, arts and cultural initiatives.

Assessment methods and criteria
The course has 2 content parts. Classes are held in the form of lectures and and seminars. The course ends with a test. Semester assessment: the number of points a student receives during the semester is the sum of the points received in the assessment of seminar papers, surveys and tests. Organisation of assessment: a survey in test and written form is conducted after the completion of each topic. Seminar papers are defended upon seminar papers are defended upon completion, in accordance with the schedule of seminars. Control works are conducted in test form. Students who have received less than the minimum the test work less than the minimum number of points, must retake the test.
