Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of theoretical foundations of quality management of tourist
services/quality management of tourist services, psychology and sociology of
tourism, project management in tourism and recreation, sustainable tourism
Management/ sustainable tourism management.
2. Knowledge of theoretical foundations of marketing in tourism.
3. Ability to master modern marketing and analytical methods and
methods of working with modern databases and models in tourism.
4. Possession of basic approaches to the use of quantitative and qualitative
methods in the organisation of marketing research in tourism.
Course content
Academic discipline ‘Start-up in tourism and recreation (Scientific
seminar)’ is focused on studying the features, acquiring skills and abilities
development and management of start-up projects, mastering the methods and
tools for their planning, organisation, implementation and development.
The component of the study programme involves the study of procedures, methods and
technologies of start-up project management. The discipline includes familiarisation with
with the tools for managing start-up projects, their business modelling and
business planning, study of marketing management technologies,
development methods, investment support, procedures for transforming
of a start-up into a legal entity in real market conditions in the
tourism and recreation.
