Learning outcomes
Exam. PLO 1. Evaluate one's own educational and scientific and professional activities, build and implement an effective self-development strategy and professional self-improvement. PLO 5. Find optimal ways of effective interaction in the professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of different levels. PLO 12. Adhere to the rules of academic integrity.PLO 19.1 Conduct all types of educational and pedagogical activities in folkloristic disciplines and foreign languages in educational institutions of higher education. Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the problems of modern society in the sphere of education, the influence of education and upbringing on personality development, the main philosophical concepts of education, the relationship of pedagogy with other sciences, the education system in Ukraine.
To be able to collect and interpret information regarding the study of reality, solve practical tasks, apply theoretical knowledge, own experience and educational materials when solving specific tasks in the field of future activity.
Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management, critical thinking and forecasting.
Course content
Purpose of discipline – students' assimilation of systematized knowledge of higher school pedagogy and teacher's pedagogical skills, formation of complex competencies in them for the qualification "teacher of a higher education institution", development of pedagogical thinking and promotion of professional self-determination, master's students' acquisition of professional pedagogical identity.
Annotation. In the course of studying the discipline, the general principles of higher pedagogy are considered schools; peculiarities of its development in the historical aspect; philosophy of education and upbringing of the 21st century; regularities, principles, forms, means, methods of organizing the educational process in higher education; system of research and educational work with students; psychological and pedagogical foundations of the formation of a teacher's professional competence, pedagogical technique, pedagogical communication in the structure of a teacher's professional activity; requirements are disclosed to a teacher at a higher education institution.

Semester assessment: maximum number – 100 points: oral report, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: learning outcome (LO) LO .1, 1.4, 1.5, 2.3, 2.4, 3.2, 3.3 – 36 / 60 points; Independent work № 1 (study of the problems of the development of higher education in Ukraine and abroad - a country of your choice): LO 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 4.1, 4.2 – 12 / 20 points;
Independent work № 2 (study of the problems of education of student youth in higher education institutions): LO 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 4.1, 4.2 –12 / 20 points; final control – LO 1.5 – 4.2 – 40 points.
