Learning outcomes
PLO. 5 Find optimal ways of effective interaction in the professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of different levels. PLO. 10 Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of folkloristics, intercultural communication and foreign language. PLO. 11 Carry out a scientific analysis of folklore material, interpret and structure it taking into account classical and modern methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data. PLO. 12 Adhere to the rules of academic integrity. PLO.19.1 Conduct all types of educational and pedagogical activities in folkloristic disciplines and foreign languages in educational institutions of higher education. PLO.21.1 To develop and improve programs of educational disciplines in folkloristics, educational and methodical materials. PLO.22.1 Conduct training sessions, provide consultations to students in folkloristic educational disciplines, as well as provide individual student support during studies.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the pedagogy of the higher school of Ukraine; essence and regularities of the educational process in higher education; teaching methods in higher education; Ukrainian folk art and folkloristics. Be able to prepare a draft of a problem lecture on folkloristic disciplines; conduct a seminar class of any type in the folkloristic discipline; control and evaluate students' knowledge; creatively organize independent work of students. Have the basic skills of analyzing folklore samples; application of methods of studying folklore and teaching folkloristic disciplines.
Course content
Purpose of discipline – with the help of pedagogical tools to reveal the content of folkloristic disciplines (goals, methods, means and forms of education), to clarify their role in the educational process of higher education institutions; to provide applicants with deep and solid knowledge of teaching methods and to develop the skills and abilities of their practical application. Annotation. The discipline is basic in the process of training a teaching specialist in the field. It is intended to contribute to the preparation and formation of the student of education for the future professional activity – a teacher of HEI; to ensure the formation of methodological competence - knowledge, skills and abilities, the ability and readiness of planning, organization, implementation, the process of teaching folkloristic disciplines in higher education, control and evaluation of students' educational achievements; to form the ability to adapt to innovations and innovations in the educational space.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminar classes, independent work. Speeches at seminar classes, presentation, defense of the plan-summary of the lecture and seminar session, tests.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: maximum number – 100 points: answer at the seminar session: learning outcome (LO) 1.1–4.3 – 24 points; test-control for content parts: LO 1.1-4.2 – 16 points; presentation: LO 1.1-1.4, 2.1-2.3, 3.1-3.2, 4.1-4.2 – 20 points; defense of the plan-summary of the lecture, seminar class: LO 1.1 – 4.2 – 40 points.
