Know: The fundamentals of pedagogy and psychology of higher education. Key teaching methodologies for mathematical and programming disciplines in higher education. The content of courses taught within the specialty 122 "Computer Science" at the bachelor's level.
Course content
Objective of the Internship: The objective of the internship is for the student to acquire professional skills and competencies in the role of a higher education instructor. The teaching assistant internship is a mandatory component of the educational programme for training specialists at the second (master’s) level of higher education in the field of study 12 "Information Technology," specialty 122 "Computer Science," as part of the second-level educational and scientific programme "Informatics." The internship is conducted during the 4th semester and encompasses 180 hours (6 ECTS credits). The internship concludes with a differentiated assessment.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester Assessment (Maximum Points): Development of a schedule for completing the teaching assistant internship: LO1.1, LO2.1 – 10 points / 6 points. Preparation of lesson plans: LO1.1, LO2.1, LO3.1, LO4.1, LO4.2 – 35 points / 21 points. Conducting an open lesson: LO1.1, LO2.1, LO4.2 – 30 points / 18 points. Writing a report on the teaching assistant internship: LO1.1, LO2.1, LO4.1, LO4.2 – 25 points / 15 points. Final assessment is conducted in the form of a differentiated credit.
