Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Knowledge of the theoretical and methodological foundations of political geography and
geopolitics (MC 1, 2, 4, 5) under this programme ;
2) Skills of comparative geographical, context, indicator, spatial analysis;
3) Basic knowledge and skills of management
Course content
The course updates knowledge and skills of professional analytics, design and management of
research projects in relation to specific research tasks and practical problems, considering, in
particular: the integrative role of geographical knowledge in solving current research problems and
practical problems in political geography and geopolitics; basic principles, ontological principles,
conceptual map of research and preparation of research proposal; analytical scheme of research
using qualitative and quantitative research methods, methods of visualization of data and research
results; basics of project activity methods and stages of research project management. The course is
taught in English.
