Learning outcomes
PRN 13. It is accessible and reasoned to explain the essence of specific philological issues, one's own point of view on them and its justification both to specialists and to the general public, in particular to students. PRN 25. To develop and improve curricula of educational disciplines in Hindi and/or English languages, educational and methodical materials. PRN 26. To conduct educational classes, provide consultations to students on educational disciplines in Hindi and/or English, as well as provide individual student support (mentoring, mentoring) during studies, using modern innovative methods and technologies of higher education.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: approaches, principles, teaching methods, forms of organization of higher education; methodical principles of formation of knowledge, skills and abilities; psychological principles of education of students of higher education institutions. Be able to: develop plans-summaries and conduct lectures, practical, seminar classes at the higher education institution; adhere to the approaches and principles of higher education, choose and use optimal methods and methodical techniques for higher education. Students must take a course in pedagogy and psychology at a higher school.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is the formation of students' methodological competence - knowledge, skills, ability and readiness to plan, organize, implement, reflect on the process of learning English in higher education, monitor and evaluate students' educational achievements.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Learning activities comprise interactive lectures, seminar classes and self-study of students. Self-study involves preparation for oral responses, scientific reports and research presentation, creating sets of exercises, analyzing and conducting fragments of lessons.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, evaluation is carried out in accordance with the types of works and the form of the counter, described in clause 7.1. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work during the whole semester, the credit control paper is written in the last lesson. If a student scored 60 or more points during the semester, he can receive credit without writing a credit report. Students who scored the minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "enrolled". Students who did not score the minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "not counted". Students who scored less than 60 points in total during the semester must prepare material on the topics for which the debt arose, in the form of writing independent works, essays, or, if necessary, write a test paper in order to receive a credit. The maximum score for additional assessment forms cannot exceed 32 points.
