Learning outcomes
PLO 3. To apply modern methods and technologies, IT in particular, for the successful and effective professional activity and quality research within the Hindi philology. PLO 6. To apply knowledge of expressive, emotional and logical linguistic means, and speech techniques in order to achieve planned pragmatic results and establish successful communication. PLO 13. To explain the essential concepts of specific philological issues, personal point of view and its substantiation both to the specialists and general public, students in particular, in a comprehensible and reasoned form. PLO 19. To apply knowledge of modern types, approaches, methods, principles and methodological requirements to the educational and methodological support of the process of teaching the Hindi language in a higher education institution.

Successful mastering of the following courses: “Hindi: Advanced level”, “Lingual country studies of India” and “Introduction to the Hindy Philology”
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to acquaint students with the theoretical and practical principles of the methodology of teaching foreign languages as a science and an educational discipline, to form the communicative, methodical and professional competence of students as teachers of the Hindi language in a higher education institution. The discipline is an integral part of scientific research component of the educational program.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Learning activities comprise interactive lectures, seminar classes and self-study of students. Self-study involves preparation for oral responses, scientific reports and research presentation, creating sets of exercises, analyzing and conducting fragments of lessons.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semestral assessment is based on: oral responses, written works, conducting fragments of lessons – 24/40 points, modular control works - 12/20 points. Summarizing evaluation is max. 40 / min. 24 points (60% of minimum required quantity); the exam written test proposes to answer two theoretical questions and complete one practical task. Students, who totally scored less than 36 points during the semester, may not participate in the testing.
