Learning outcomes
The main geological problems solved using the well-logging methods. Principles of the formation of rational well-logging complexes for solving specific geological and technical problems. The most important electrical and magnetic methods of well research (problems, physical foundations, use). The main radioactive methods of well research (tasks, physical basis, (use). The most important acoustic methods of well research (tasks, physical basis, use). Special work in wells to determine the filtration-capacitive properties of formations. The specifics of the well logging technology. Methods study of the technical condition of wells.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of the course "Geophysical research methods". 2. Possession of elementary skills of working with a personal computer.
Course content
The basics (physical essence and implementation technology) of electrical, electromagnetic, nuclear, seismoacoustic, technical, geochemical methods of well logging, as well as methods of studying the technical condition of wells and methods of their testing (perforation, torpedoing) are considered. The possibility of solving geological and geophysical problems using well logging methods is substantiated. The specifics of conducting geophysical research in the conditions of wells of different purposes are also studied; the principles of formation of rational well logging complexes for solving specific geological and technical problems, taking into account the conditions of measurement in wells; basics of processing and interpretation of well-logging data.
