Learning outcomes
Students will familiarize themselves with the main modern methods of studying hydrogeological and engineering-geological conditions, with the principles of substantiation of a rational complex of hydrogeological and engineering-geological research, as well as with the main normative documents and the skills of their application in the practical activities of specialists in hydrogeology and engineering geology

Course content
The main normative documents regulating the implementation of hydrogeological and engineering-geological studies are considered. Methods of conducting hydrogeological and engineering-geological research and the peculiarities of their application in solving various production tasks are studied

Lectures and seminar classes, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
The control involves the implementation of seminar classes and written tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written test. Writing a term paper is provided.The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to take the final grade if he / she scored less than 40 points during the semester. During the semester the student can score from 48 to 80 points. During the test the student can get from 12 to 20 points
