Learning outcomes
Вe able to determine the main factors in the formation of water inflow to mine workings under various geological, hydrogeological, physiographic and technogenic conditions; build general schemes for drying deposits in simple and complex hydrogeological conditions using existing means of dewatering; evaluate existing and predict future volumes of water inflow to the mine working; carry out drainage of open and underground mine workings

knowledge of geography, mathematics, chemistry, hydrogeology, engineering and geological processes is required
Course content
to provide students with knowledge about the main types of hydrogeological conditions in mining areas and the main factors in the formation of water inflows to mine workings; methods for predicting water inflows into mine workings and methods for draining them; hydrogeochemical conditions and methods for prospecting for mineral deposits; features of hydrogeology of oil and gas fields; problems of environmental protection from the negative impact of technogenesis formed during the operation of deposits.

Lectures, laboratory work, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
Control involves laboratory work and 2 written tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written and oral exam. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to take the final grade if he / she scored less than 20 points during the semester. During the semester the student can score from 36 to 60 points. During the exam the student can get from 24 to 40 points
