Learning outcomes
PR02. Apply your knowledge to identify and solve problematic issues and make informed decisions in the Earth sciences. PR06. To be able to carry out environmental assessment, audit, licensing, certification of the use of natural resources, forecast the development of ecological, technological, economic and social consequences at individual objects of nature use. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the course "Water Management Calculations", "Hydroecology". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of hydrology. 3. Possession of elementary hydrological concepts about water bodies, their hydrological and hydrochemical regime, assessment of water quality as a result of anthropogenic impact
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the study of the international experience of water resources management and its implementation in Ukraine, the basic principles of hydrographic and water management zoning of the territory of Ukraine, mechanisms for the implementation of environmental policy in the field of water relations.

Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, after the completion of the relevant topics, thematic written control papers with open questions are conducted. It is mandatory for the exam to write test papers according to content modules, to complete all practical works. For students who scored a total of less than the critical calculation minimum - 36 points, writing essays on insufficiently mastered topics is a mandatory condition for admission to the exam. The maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to the semester ones is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the exam). Students who, during the semester, scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to take the exam. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 36 points.
