Learning outcomes
PR07. Apply models, methods and data of physics, chemistry, biology, ecology, mathematics, information technologies, etc. when studying natural processes of geosphere formation and development. PR12. Know and apply theories, paradigms, concepts and principles in Earth sciences according to specialization. PR13. Be able to convey the results of activities to a professional audience and the general public, make presentations and messages.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
- successful completion of the courses "Hydrology of rivers", "Fundamentals of hydrochemistry";
- knowledge of the theoretical foundations of general hydrology, hydrochemistry, assessment of the quality of the ecological state
water bodies;
- possession of elementary skills of hydrological and hydrochemical calculations.
Course content
The discipline forms in the student a clear idea of the place of water resources management in the structure of the general theory of management; reveals the water resource potential as a component of the natural resource potential of Ukraine; shows the main problems related to the water management of Ukraine, the functioning of the water management, the management system and its main structural units, the organization of water resource monitoring.
