As a result of studying the discipline ‘Electronic and Quantum Devices of the Microwave Range’, students should understand and master the principles of operation of modern electronic and quantum microwave devices

The discipline ‘Electronic and Quantum Devices of the Microwave Range’ is studied on the basis of the knowledge acquired by students in the study of disciplines: ‘Fundamentals of circuit theory’, “Electrodynamics and propagation of radio waves”, “General physics”.
Course content
The study of the discipline ‘Electronic and Quantum Devices of the Microwave Range’ allows you to understand the physical foundations of electronic and quantum devices of the microwave range, the principles of construction and operation of microwave devices for generating, transmitting and detecting information signals for further use in modern telecommunication systems and special equipment.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures - 42 hrs, laboratory works - 14 hrs, independent work - 60 hrs, total - 116 hrs.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment is carried out by writing module tests (up to 30 points), performing and defending laboratory work (up to 30 points), in total - up to 60 points. The final assessment in the form of a test is up to 40 points.
