PLO 5.To apply analytical and methodical tools for substantiating proposals and making managerial decisions by various economic agents (individuals, households, enterprises and government authorities PLO 7 To explain the models of socioeconomic phenomena from the point of view of fundamental principles and knowledge on the basis of understanding the basic directions of the development of economics). PLO 8. To apply appropriate economic and mathematical methods and models for solving economic problems. PLO 11. To be able to analyze the processes of government authorities and market regulation of socio-economic and labor relations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know: the basic principles of the international financial economics; trends and principles of development of the global economy; basics of investments and finance; basic approaches to the analysis of statistical information. 2. To have the skills to search, analyze, synthesize, process and visualize statistics, work with analytical and statistical reports of international organizations, reporting companies.
Course content
Discipline discovers the nature, basic forms, subjects and current trends of international investment; forming the knowledge of the basic theories of international investment and developing the skills of using these theories in practice; learning the basic strategies and instruments of the international investment markets; mastering the knowledge of features of the international investing in equity, bonds, derivatives, gold markets; familiarizing the students with contemporary approaches to the international investment portfolio management and its effectiveness evaluation; learning the principles of the regulation of international investments.

Assessment methods and criteria
1.Homework check, independent work, discussion, small groups in class assignments, written questionary - 30 points / 18 points 2.Problems calculation 10 points / 6 points 3.Project performance 20 points / 12 points final evaluation The final assessment is carried out in the form of a written examination paper, which is evaluated with a maximum of 40 points. The final grade for the student's discipline is set based on the results of work during the semester as the sum of points obtained during the academic semester, including points obtained for independent work and examination work.
