1. To conduct research or carry out innovative activities with the aim of obtaining new knowledge, developing new methods and procedures in geography and interdisciplinary contexts, in particular, on issues of nature conservation, restoration and protection of landscapes and biodiversity (PR04). 2. To participate in the development of programs and strategies of cross-border nature protection, urban and regional development, planning of territories of various hierarchical level (PR07). 3. Conduct research on natural and socio-geographic manifestations of the development of geosystems in complex and unpredictable conditions, forecast their development, analyze alternatives, assess risks and likely consequences (PR08) 4. Apply geo-information technologies, create and research models of natural and socio-geographic manifestations of the development of geosystems, determine the possibilities and limits of their application (PR10) 5. (PR17).

Full-time form

1. Be able to establish the nature of relationships between the causes of occurrence, consequences and ways of solving problems of ecosystem protection and avoidance degradation of their services. 2. To be able to analyze the negative consequences of unregulated economy human activity from the standpoint of a geographical approach to ecosystem assessment services 3. To know the main theoretical provisions of the concept of ecosystem services, options their classification and evaluation methods for the purpose of further monetization. 4. To know the main aspects of the classification of ecosystem services according to the UN report "Evaluation of ecosystems at the turn of the millennium" (Millennium Ecosystem Assessment). 5. Possess the skills of conducting scientific and applied research on evaluation ecosystem services, as well as the use of innovative technologies in the process monetization and marketing of ecosystem services.

This educational discipline dedicated to the study of the main provisions of the concept of ecosystem services (ES), their classifications according to various characteristics and assessment methods important for substantiation different options for using the territory. Discipline "Marketing of ecosystems services" is aimed at deepening theoretical and applied knowledge about marketing of ecosystem services, necessary for assessing the extent of damage society as a result of the degradation of natural ecosystems, the formation of masters accumulation of special professional, social and personal competencies knowledge about the possibility of critical thinking, analysis and synthesis, ability ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources identify, formulate and solve numerous problems in the process application of acquired knowledge in practice. Separate components of the discipline are the study of: concepts of "natural capital" and "ecosystem services"; criteria for dividing EP into supply and regulatory cultural and supportive; principles and relationships of ecosystem services with protection and reproduction of natural resources; causes of degradation and the largest threats to the quality of ecosystem services; methods of monetary and non-monetary assessment of EP; mechanisms of inclusion of ecosystem products and services in the economic system relations The functional block of the discipline involves mastering the following components, such as the ability to apply basic knowledge of natural sciences and of information technologies in the process of EP assessment, the ability to apply quantitative and qualitative methods of research on the formation of payments for various types of EP, ability independently research, analyze changes in concepts related to inclusion ecosystem products and services into the system of economic relations.
