1. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the study of natural and socio-territorial systems at different levels of spatial organization, in particular the cross-border level. (PR01) 2. Communicate freely on professional and scientific issues in a foreign language (PR03) 3. Conduct research and/or carry out innovative activities in order to obtain new knowledge, develop new methods and procedures in geography and interdisciplinary contexts, in particular, on issues of nature conservation, restoration and protection of landscapes and biodiversity (PR04) 4. To be able to identify, pose and solve scientific and applied problems, to carry out a critical evaluation of the decisions made, in particular, also in terms of the cross-border level of nature protection (PR05) 5. Independently assess the key trends in the development of natural and socio-geographical processes for the formation of new areas of scientific research, in particular (PR15)

the discipline considers theoretical foundations cross-border environmental cooperation, focuses on spheres and concrete cases of such cooperation in Ukraine, analysis and cross-border territories ecological cooperation. The discipline consists of two content modules. The first content module analyzed the theoretical foundations of cross-border of environmental cooperation in Ukraine, regulatory and legal framework and forms of cross-border cooperation cooperation, hierarchical levels and regions of cross-border cooperation. In the second content module, specific directions and cases are analyzed cross-border environmental cooperation, integration opportunities nature protection territories of Ukraine to the pan-European ecological network, Emerald network and Ramsar sites, biosphere reserves, as well as directions post-war environmental cooperation. Study discipline "Geography of cross-border environmental cooperation of Ukraine" is one of the components of comprehensive training of higher education degree holders "master's degree" in the specialty "106 Geography" of the educational program "Cross-border ecological cooperation".
