Learning outcomes
PR01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of science Earth, geoecology, marketing and restoration ecosystem services. PR06. Determine main characteristics, processes, history and composition Earth as a planet system and its geosphere PR07. Apply models, methods and data physics, chemistry, biology, ecology, geoecology, mathematicians, informative technologies, etc the study of natural processes of formation and development of geospheres. PR09. Be able to perform research of geospheres for using quantitative methods of analysis PR12. Know and apply theories paradigms, concepts and principles in the sciences of Land, according to specialization

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To be able to establish relationships between the components of natural systems, to analyze them, have elementary skills of system analysis, understand cause and effect connections between the components of nature, to have an idea of ​​geographical features and specificity individual natural zones of the world.
Course content
The content of the discipline reveals the main provisions of soil science as a science that studies the origin, structure, composition, properties and dynamics of soils as natural and historical formations, which, moreover, are objects of labor and means of production. Within the scope of the discipline, the essence of the concept of "soil" and modern approaches to it are considered interpretation, genesis of soils and the influence of soil formation factors on their formation, phase soil composition, basic physical, physico-chemical and morphological properties of soils, patterns of distribution and basic laws of soil geography of Ukraine and the world, principles classification of soils, the basis of rational use, monitoring and protection of soil and land resources.
