Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the courses "Analysis of business processes in the financial sphere", "Visualization of financial data" 2. Possession of basic skills of application of methods of the analysis, work in Excel etc.
Course content
Good management of financial institutions involves the effective use of financial information for strategic decisions. This determines the prominent place of the discipline "Financial information and strategic decision making" among the courses that form a master's degree within EP "Financial institutions and risk management".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The purpose of the discipline – deepening knowledge of theoretical and practical provisions in the field of using financial information for strategic decision-making.
Assessment methods and criteria
Written testing is performed before solving problems. If the number of correct answers is 60% or more, the student is allowed to solve problems, and if less - repeats the material passed and prepares for re-testing. Interviewing and solving practical problems takes place in practical classes. The defense of the report on the implementation of a complex task for independent work of the student takes place at the last practical lesson. The grade from any semester grade can be increased or decreased, taking into account the activity of student attendance.
