Learning outcomes
To possess a methodological toolkit in the field of risk management. To understand the principles, methods, and tools of risk management. To conduct risk assessments and accurately interpret the obtained information. To identify sources and understand the methodology of determining and obtaining economic data, collect and analyze the necessary information for making managerial decisions. To apply acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical tasks and meaningfully interpret the obtained results.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To have knowledge of the general theoretical foundations of risk management in financial institutions and practical approaches to building risk management systems; the peculiarities of risk management in banks; the legislative and regulatory framework of risk management; the organization of risk management bodies and financial monitoring.
To possess skills in analyzing, synthesizing, processing, and visualizing statistical data, working with the regulatory framework, and delivering public presentations.
Course content
This educational discipline is the theoretical and practical basis of the set of knowledge and skills that form the profile of a specialist in the direction of training "Finance, banking and insurance" and includes a range of issues related to the formation of a modern system of in-depth knowledge of theory and practice the implementation of compliance, its main tools and mechanisms of interaction. Students should get an idea of the peculiarities of the implementation of the compliance system in financial institutions. The course is built using modern Western and domestic financial literature.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The objective of the discipline is to develop students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills in solving professional tasks in the field of risk management in financial markets and risk management in financial organizations. It aims to highlight the theoretical and organizational-methodological aspects of constructing and operating risk management systems, as well as methods for managing various types of risks.
Assessment methods and criteria
The grading system for the assessment components is as follows: Oral questioning, discussion - 10 points / 6 points, Problem solving - 10 points / 6 points, Testing - 10 points / 6 points, Module control work - 20 points / 12 points, Independent work - 10 points / 6 points
