1. Know the basics of financial theory, have a level of English not lower than B2.
2. Have the skills to work with mathematical and statistical formulas.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline: to develop a foundation of financial management concepts. This will enable to the student to understand how corporations make important investment and financing decisions, and how they establish working capital policies. The course also lays a foundation for more complex financial topics that arise in additional elective courses in finance. This course in financial management describes the corporation and its operating environment; it will help any future manager to understand how the finances of a company work, and how they will be interfacing with finance

Assessment methods and criteria
Module 1 (M1) includes topic 1-4, and Module 2 (M2) includes topics 5-8.
1. Oral questioning, discussion, essay - 10 points / 6 points;
2. Calculation work - 15 points / 6 points;
3. Testing - 20 points / 12 points;
4. Modular control work (2 MCR, 10 points max. Each) - 10 points / 6 points;
5. Independent work (project) - 20 points / 12 points;
6. Final test - 25 points / 18 points.
- final evaluation
The final control is carried out in the form of a written test, which is evaluated with a maximum of 20 points and is conducted in one of the last seminars in the discipline. The final grade for the student's discipline is set based on the results of work during the semester as the sum of points obtained during the academic semester, including points obtained for independent work and the final test.
