Learning outcomes
PLO1. Articulate, analyze and synthesize solutions of scientific and practical problems. PLO11. Identify and critically assess the state and trends of socio-economic development, form and analyze models of economic systems and processes. PLO16. Plan and perform scientific and/or applied research, make reasonable conclusions on the results of research, present the results, and reason their opinions. PLO19. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the theoretical and methodological foundations of economic disciplines for research and modeling of economic phenomena and processes 2. To be able to analyze economic phenomena and processes, to propose managerial decisions regarding increasing their efficiency. 3. To have the skills of planning, organizing and conducting scientific economic research, writing scientific papers, articles, theses, public speaking skills, in English.
Course content
The program of the academic discipline consists of three substantive sections. Content section 1 "Methodology of scientific research", in which the meaning of the concepts "methodology", "methodology", "research methods", understanding is revealed sciences as research are considered specifically scientific, general scientific and philosophical level of methodology. A set of modern methodological systems is outlined philosophy of science. The methodological problems of modern economic science, which exist, are highlighted a component of the modern methodology of science. Content section 2 "Fundamentals of intellectual property" theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of economic nature are revealed and specifics of intellectual property in modern conditions. Actual problems are analyzed development of industrial property, copyright and related rights. Mechanisms are being investigated management and commercialization of intellectual property rights, protection and protection in terms market economy. In Content Chapter 3 "Theoretical and methodological foundations of the methodology and practical aspects of conducting scientific research" is studied scientific and methodological principles and methods of conducting comprehensive economic research, laws and patterns of development of economic phenomena, processes, complex economic systems.
