1. Know the main economic and financial categories. 2. Be able to perform analytical calculations and make decisions based on their results. 3. Have the skills and techniques of economic and mathematical research.
Course content
The discipline "Financial Management" aims to develop an understanding of theoretical financial concepts and practical methods and tools of financial information processing, in order to use them to make decisions in meeting the financial needs of the company, and determine optimal proportions in the structure of assets and liabilities. The main topics of the course are: financial analysis of enterprise reporting, financial planning and forecasting, basics of investment decision making, cost and capital structure, dividend policy, short-term financing, fixed capital management, bankruptcy and financial restructuring.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Participation in practical classes (discussions of a theoretical nature, solving practical problems, speeches) 2. Modular control 3. Homework (preparation and defense of an analytical note, solving cases) 4. Final assessment in the form of taking an exam, consists of a theoretical question, calculation tests, practical tasks.
