Prerequisites and co-requisites
2.1. Successful mastering of courses: "Economic Theory", "Macroeconomics", "Microeconomics", "Economic Policy".
2.2. Knowledge of theoretical foundations: organization of market relations and economic activity; principles of functioning of economic systems; content and tasks of state regulation of the economy; principles of formation and implementation of economic policy; tools for monetary and fiscal regulation of the economy.
Course content
Annotation of the discipline: the discipline "Modern problems of economics and economic policy" is devoted to a comprehensive study of complex and dynamic processes occurring in modern economics and economic practice, contradictions and leading trends in economic theory, nature and mechanisms of economic policy, taking into account the latest trends in the transformation of national economic systems and prospects for their development in the global world. The discipline analyzes such areas of unorthodox economic thought as philosophy of economics, economic synergetics, institutionalism, evolutionary economics, economic sociology, economic anthropology, information economics, new political economy, economic globalism.

The purpose of the discipline - the formation of students' new economic worldview, modern economic thinking and professional competencies based on in-depth
study and creative understanding of current issues of modern economic theory and economic policy, as well as a comprehensive understanding of trends transformation of the modern economic system.
Assessment methods and criteria
1. Work on a seminar (oral answers, additions, solving practical problems) - 30 points / 20 points.
2. Work on a seminar (oral answers, additions, solving practical problems) - 30 points / 25 points.
3. Test work - (topics 1-10) -1 5 points / I point - final assessment in the form of a test: 25 points maximum / 15 points minimum
