Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: the basics of organizational and methodological support of modern forms of statistical observation; surveillance data control system and procedure for recovery of missing and incomplete data; types of observation errors, causes of registration and representativeness errors.
2. Have the skills to plan an observation; development of statistical tools; forming the basis of the sample, determining its minimum sufficient volume for different types and methods of selection; combining different forms and types of observation and coordination of their data; performing logical and arithmetic control of data; compiling layouts of source statistical tables; preparation of analytical notes on the results of observations.
Course content
The content of the discipline is revealed in the following topics: methodological and organizational principles of information support of business processes and public administration, features of statistical observations in commercialization, statistical observations of business activity, statistical surveys of goods and services, methodological and organizational features of statistical observations in the financial and banking system and exchange activities, censuses: current tasks and features of the study, statistical monitoring of socio-political processes and moods of the population.

Objectives (learning objectives): to promote the formation of integrated competence - the ability to identify and solve complex economic problems and problems, to make appropriate analytical and managerial decisions in economics or in the learning process, involving research and / or innovation in uncertain conditions and requirements.
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: (max. Points 60 / min. Points 36)
1. Participation in laboratory work (reports, answers to theoretical questions. Independent performance of practical exercises) - 10 points / 6 points
2. Modular test (topic 1-3) - 20 points / 12 points
3. Execution of 2 complex independent works (1st individual, 2nd group project) - 15 points each / 9 points
- final assessment in the form of an exam 40 points maximum / 24 points minimum.
