PLO 1. Formulate, analyze and synthesize solutions to scientific and practical problems. PLO 2. Develop, justify and make effective decisions on the development of socio-economic systems and management of economic entities. PLO 3. Communicate freely on professional and scientific issues in state and foreign languages orally and in writing. PLO 4. Develop socio-economic projects and a system of comprehensive actions for their implementation, taking into account their goals, expected socio-economic consequences, risks, legislative, resource and other constraints. PLO 6. Evaluate the results of their own work to demonstrate leadership skills and ability to manage staff and work in a team.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the courses "Economic Theory", "Microeconomics", "Management", "Marketing", "Macroeconomics", "Business Economics", "Enterprise Finance", "Management Decision Making", and other management cycles that reveal the content of economic laws , the mechanism of their action, create conditions for the use of these laws in organizing the activities of enterprises and determining the ways and trends of their development. The main provisions of these sciences are the theoretical basis for the construction of the course "Strategic Management" and determine the methodological approaches to solving strategic problems of the enterprise in a market economy.
Course content
Content module 1. "Theoretical bases of realization of the concept of strategic management at the enterprise". Introduction to strategic management. The main components of the strategic management system. Methods of analysis of the external and internal environment of the organization. Mission and strategic goals of the organization. The essence of strategy and "strategic set". Strategic segmentation of enterprise activity. Competitive advantages. Competitiveness of products and enterprises. Content module 2. "Practical tools of strategic management". Portfolio analysis in the development of enterprise strategies. Strategic planning. Strategic plans, projects, programs. Strategic flexibility. Assessing the relationship between intra-firm activities. The latest tools for the formation, implementation of strategy and control over its implementation. Organizational support of strategic management.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Discussion, lecture, business game lecture, business game, case situations, consideration of practical, classroom workshop conducting a business game, consideration of situational tasks, business cases.
Assessment methods and criteria
Module 1: assessment for work in seminars and control work on the theoretical foundations of the organization of managerial work - 30 points (boundary assessment of 18 points). Module 2: evaluation for seminar work and control work on practical aspects of the organization of managerial work - 30 points (boundary evaluation 18 points)
