PLO 1. Formulate, analyze and synthesize solutions for scientific and practical problems. PLO 4. Develop socio-economic projects and a system of all-inclusive actions for their implementation, taking into account the goals, expected socio-economic outcomes, risks, legislative, resource, and other constraints. PLO 6. Assess personal performance, demonstrate leadership skills to manage staff and work as part of a team. PLO 7. Select effective methods for managing economic activity, ground proposed solutions based on relevant data and scientific and applied research. PLO 10. Apply modern information technology and specialized software in socioeconomic and political-economic research and management of socio-economic systems. PLO 17. Use modern educational and research technologies in the field of economics.

Mastering academic disciplines "Economic Theory and Economic Policy", "History of Economic Thought", "Microeconomics", "Main Streams of Modern Economic Theory", "New Political Economy". Knowledge of theoretical foundations: organization of market relations and economic activity; functioning and development of economic systems; content and tasks of state regulation of economy; principles of formation and implementation of economic policy; main stages and directions of economic development, economic thought. Skills in general scientific and specific methods of economic research.

The content of discipline are origins, genesis and development of theoretical and methodological foundations of institutional economic theory, its main research programs - Origional and New Institutional Economics, its structure and analytical tools, scientific and practical application. The following main problems are studied: essence of institutions as basic elements of institutional analysis; nature and classification of transaction costs; property rights; institutional structure of the economy; institutional nature of organizations, state, illegal economy; content of the evolutionary approach in institutional economic theory; structure and mechanisms of institutional changes, features of its implementation in transformational economy.
