Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know theoretical foundations of macro- and microeconomics, economic theory, management, investment, business economics; basics of legislative regulation of investment activity; principles of cash flow formation at the enterprise; main financial and economic indicators of the enterprise. 2. Have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing, and presentation of statistical data, mathematical modeling, forecasting, work with the regulatory framework, assessing the effectiveness of investment activities of enterprises; use Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Course content
The basics of the process and the system of methods for managing the investment portfolio of the enterprise in a market economy are revealed. Theoretical principles of investment portfolio formation of enterprises, principles of managing the choice of financial investment instruments in the formation of financial investment portfolio, the main types of analysis of investment portfolio of enterprises, features of portfolio investment strategy. Methodical tools for forming the investment portfolio of enterprises are studied, the issue of measuring the risk of financial investments in decision-making by individual investors, modern models of optimization of the investment portfolio of the enterprise in the process of its formation, methods of assessing the effectiveness of securities management of the institutional investor and the organization of investment monitoring, methods of optimizing the distribution of real investments in the shortage of financial resources.

Forms of student assessment: (max. points 60 / min. points 36) 1. Oral survey, discussion (LO1; 2.2; 3.1) - 10 points / 6 points; 2. Solving problems (LO1; 2.1-2.3; 3.1) - 20 points / 12 points; 3. Modular test (2 tests, 10 points max. each) (LO1; 2.1; 2.3; 4) - 20 points / 12 points; 4. Independent work (2 written works, 5 points max. each) (LO1; 2.1-2.3; 3.2; 4) - 10 points / 6 points. Final assessment in the form of an exam
