Learning outcomes
PLO02. Apply the acquired knowledge for identifying, setting, and solving problems of various practical situations in entrepreneurial, trade, and exchange activities.
PLO05. Organize the search, independent selection, and due processing of information from various sources to form data banks of entrepreneurship, trade, and exchange activities.
PLO 11. Demonstrate basic and structured knowledge of entrepreneurship, trading, and stockbroking for further use in practice.
PLO 16. Know the regulatory and legal support for the activities of entrepreneurial, trading, and exchange structures and apply it in practice.
PLO 19. Apply knowledge and skills to ensure the effective organization of foreign economic activity of entrepreneurial, trade, and exchange structures, taking into account market conditions and current legal norms.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the organizational and economic foundations of foreign economic activity of enterprises.
2. Be able to use analytical and statistical methods of processing economic information, work with national and international databases, calculate the economic efficiency of business operations.
3. Have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical data, work with the regulatory framework, design and presentation of data using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).

Topic 3. Customs regulation in the system of economic security of the state
Topic 4. Customs duties and charges: methods of accrual and payment
Topic 5. The essence and features of customs regimes
Topic 6. Customs clearance of goods and commercial vehicles when crossing the border
Topic 7. Customs control: organization and forms
Topic 8. Customs clearance and control over the movement of passengers, vehicles, currency and other items across the customs border of Ukraine
Topic 9. Violation of customs rules and smuggling
Topic 10. Information and statistical support of customs

Lectures, seminars, testing, surveys, discussion of problematic issues, implementation of situational exercises and business cases
Assessment methods and criteria
Max. 100 points / minimum. 60 points
1. Oral survey, discussion (lecture 1 - 7), LO 1.1 - 1.5: 10 points / 6 points;
2. Testing (lecture 1 - 7), PH 1.1 - 1.5: 10 points / 6 points;
3. Solving computational and analytical tasks, practical tasks using a business simulator (lectures 3 - 6), LO 2.1 - 2.4; 3.1 - 3.2; 4.1 - 4.3: 14 points / 6 points;
4. Modular test 1 (lecture 1 - 3), LO 1.1 - 1.3; 2.1 - 2.2: 10 points / 6 points.
5. Modular test 2 (lecture 4 - 7), LO 1.4 - 1.5, 2.1-2.4: 10 points / 6 points.
6. Presentation of the results of the individual task: LO 2.1 - 2.5; 3.1 - 3.2; 4.1 - 4.3: 6 points / 6 points.
