Learning outcomes
PLO 02. Apply the acquired knowledge to identify, set and solve problems in different practical situations in business, trade and exchange activities.
PLO 04. Use modern computer and telecommunication technologies for the exchange and dissemination of professionally oriented information in the field of entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activities.
PLO 12. Have the methods and tools to justify management decisions on the establishment and operation of business, trade and exchange structures.
PLO 17. Be able to solve professional problems in organizing the activities of business, trade and exchange structures and solve problems in crisis situations, taking into account external and internal influences.
PLO 21. Be able to apply methods and tools to justify management decisions in the context of digitalization of business and stock market activities.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: theoretical, methodological and practical principles of formation, operation and regulation of stock trading in the financial market.
2. Have the skills of fundamental and technical analysis, read information from tick charts and charts of Japanese candles, how the Dow Jones index is formed, etc.
Course content
The discipline consists of the following content modules:
- «Economic content and tools of trading in the stock market» - topics 1-5 - study of the economic essence of the stock market, organization and technology of stock trading, features of stock exchange transactions, features, parameters, characteristics, properties of financial markets.
- «Practical aspects of trading in the stock market» - topics 6-10 - the basic principles and methods of classical (technical) and fundamental analysis of financial markets; models, schemes and structures that describe the functioning of financial markets.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Content module 1 (MR1), includes topics 1-5, form of control - modular test (Min. - 12 points, Max. - 20 points).
2. Content module 2 (MR2), includes topics 6-10, as well as independent work; form of control - modular test (Min. - 12 points, Max. - 20 points).
Final evaluation in the form of a exam
A student is not allowed to take the exam if he / she received less than 36 points during the semester.
2 blocks of tasks are taken into account:
1 block – theoretical tasks;
2 block - test tasks;
3 block - computational problems.
