Learning outcomes
PLO1. Use basic knowledge of entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activities and skills of critical thinking, analysis and synthesis for professional purposes.
PLO2. Apply the acquired knowledge to identify, set and solve problems in different practical situations in business, trade and exchange activities.
PLO 12. Have the methods and tools to justify management decisions on the establishment and operation of business, trade and exchange structures.
PLO17. Be able to solve professional problems in organizing the activities of business, trade and exchange structures and solve problems in crisis situations, taking into account external and internal influences.
PLO20. Know the basics of business planning, assessing market conditions and performance of business, trade and exchange structures, taking into account the risks.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: the basic organizational and economic principles of the enterprise; basics of legislative regulation of the enterprise in all economic spheres; qualitative and quantitative features of economic processes; theoretical foundations of analysis and diagnosis of enterprises.
2. Be able to use analytical and statistical methods of processing economic information, work with national and international databases, calculate economic indicators.
3. Have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical data, work with the regulatory framework, design and presentation of data using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).
Course content
The methodology and tools of risk management in conditions of uncertainty are revealed. Methodical bases of diagnostics, classification and risk assessment are studied.
Features of critical thinking, the ability to navigate freely in a large array of modern financial and economic information are revealed.
The full cycle of risk management is introduced: from identifying the risk factors that most affect the company's activities as a whole, to assessing the effectiveness of risk management actions.
The curriculum consists of two content modules:
Module 1. Risk identification methodology

Semester assessment (MAX - 60 points / MIN - 36 points):
Oral interview, discussion (lectures 1 - 7), PH 1.1 - 1.5: 10 points / 6 points;
Testing (lectures 1 - 7), PH 1.1 - 1.5: 10 points / 6 points;
Solving analytical tasks, practical tasks using a business simulator (lectures 1 - 15), РН 2.1 - 2.4; 3.1 - 3.2; 4.1 - 4.2: 14 points / 6 points;
Modular test 1 (lecture 1 - 7), PH 1.1 - 1.3; 2.1 - 2.3: 10 points / 6 points.
Modular test 2 (lecture 8 - 15), PH 1.4 - 1.5, 2.4: 10 points / 6 points.
Presentation of the results of the individual task: РН 2.1 - 2.5; 3.1 - 3.2; 4.1 - 4.3: 6 points / 6 points.
