Successful mastering of courses «Mathematics», «Economics». Knowledge of fundamentals of economic decision-making; principles and general concepts of consumer choice theory; knowledge of general theoretical and methodological principles, categories and key concepts of economic theory and economic policy; understanding of the basic economic laws, motives of behavior of economic agents, role of state regulation of economy, methods and mechanisms of effective exploitation of limited resources for satisfaction of boundless human needs.

The course provides the basic knowledge on the history of the world economy. The course is devoted to the study of general issues of methodology of historical and economic research, periodization of economic history, genesis of types and forms of management of the world's leading countries in the pre-industrial era, patterns of major industries formation and its features in specific countries, transformation of management and organization of production in XX-XXI centuries.
