Learning outcomes
To know -Major trends in the development of university education in Ukraine and in the world -Features of the university education system in Ukraine and its adaptation to the principles of the Bologna process -Peculiarities of Educational Process Organization at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv -Principles of Academic Integrity -Еthical norms, standards and the University Code of Ethics To be able -To analyze the history of development and the existing system of university education in Ukraine -To use the principles of Academic Integrity and ethical norms and standards in independent researches

For studying the course students should not acquire any knowledge on other courses.
Course content
The course structure has two modules: Content module 1. History of development of university education and science in Ukraine and all over the world Content module 2. University Studies at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Module 1. “History of development of university education and science in Ukraine and in the world” is devoted to the study of history of formation and development of university education and tradition in the world and in Ukraine, peculiarities of their implementation at Kyiv University in the context of history and present, directions of integration of Ukrainian university education into the European educational space in the Bologna process. Module 2. “University Studies at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv” is devoted to the study of institutionalization of university education and science, the integration of the university education system in Ukraine into the Bologna process, the organization of Educational Process at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the problems of professional adaptation of students and the organization of professional work, the principles of Academic Integrity, ethical norms, standards and the University Code of Ethics.

Assessment methods and criteria
The forms of evaluation (max. 100 points, min – 60 points): - semester evaluation: 1. Discussion of problematic issues (RS 1.1-1.5; 2.2) - 10 points / 4 points; 2. Module test (2 MT, 20 points max. each) (RS 1.1-1.5; 2.2) - 40 points / 26 points; 3. Individual student’s self-study (1 written paper, 25 points) (RS 1.1-1.5, 2.1-2.2) - 25 points / 15 points; 4. Final Test (RS 1.1-1.5, 2.1-2.2) - 25 points / 15 points.
