Learning outcomes
PRS 5. To apply analytical and methodical tools for substantiating proposals and making managerial decisions by various economic agents (individuals, households, enterprises and government authorities). PRS 6. To use professional arguments to transmit information, ideas, problems and ways of their solving to professionals and non-professionals in the field of economic activity. PRS14.To identify and plan personal career development opportunities. PRS20. To master the skills of oral and written professional communication in official and foreign languages. PRS22. To demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in new situations, in working with new objects and in uncertain conditions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
-mastery of basic academic disciplines for training specialists in the field knowledge 05 "Social and Behavioral Sciences" at the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, in particular: "Introduction to University Studies", "Modern Information Technologies in Economics", "Management", "Philosophy", "Macroeconomics", "Finance", "Statistics for Economists"; - knowledge of theoretical foundations of psychology and sociology, etc.
Course content
The course consists of two content modules. Content module 1: “Fundamentals of self-management” Theoretical foundations of self-management. Self-management as a defining basis for the formation of a modern specialist. Information in educational and professional activities. General characteristics and quality parameters of economic and management information. Literacy as a key to professional success Business communication in professional activities. Non-verbal means of communication in educational and professional activities. The concept of time management and its tools in educational and professional activities. Planning of working time. Setting goals and planning work. Organization of the workplace. Organization of the working organization of the working day. Self-organization of personal activities of an economist. Stress management. Content module 2: “Applied aspects of self-management”. Modern specialist as a personality. Self-presentation. Hard & soft skills. Self-awareness, self-knowledge and self-esteem. Self-motivation and self-control. Self-education and self-development of a specialist's creative potential to improve his/her professionalism. Self-education and self-improvement of general and professional competencies. Leadership and formation of qualities of an effective leader. Emotional intelligence of the leader.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Informational and traditional with elements of problem-based learning: lecture, discussion, business game, case studies, independent work
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral performance of practical tasks with elements of discussion during seminar classes; written performance of calculation and analytical, situational, test, creative individual tasks; control works in the form of testing; written performance, presentation and defense of group and individual tasks; credit in the form of testing. Attendance at lectures and seminars, timely completion of individual assignments and independent work are an integral part of students' preparation for the control. Current assessment: - oral answer 3 points / 1 point; - individual task 5 points / 1 point; - presentation defense, participation in a business game 3 points / 1 point; - supplement 1 point / 0 points. Modular control: 2 tests. - control work (for the semester of the 2nd year) 8 / 5 points; Independent work: defense of a group educational project. - study project (independent work during the semester) 20/12 points.
