Learning outcomes
To know and use economic terminology, explain the basic concepts of micro- and macroeconomics. To use professional arguments to transmit information, ideas, problems, and ways of their solving to professionals and non-professionals in the field of economic activity. To analyze the functioning and development of economic entities, to identify functional areas, to calculate the relevant indicators that characterize the performance of their activities.To demonstrate the basic skills of creative and critical thinking in research and professional communication. To use information and communication technologies to solve socio-economic problems, prepare and present analytical reports. Carry out research according to the established order for enterprises and business entities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic principles of enterprise operation, methods of analysis of resource efficiency in the enterprise, the theoretical essence of the value of the enterprise and its components, the basics of forecasting and design. 2. Have the skills of public speaking and teamwork.
Course content
Training in business economics plays an important role in practical training economists, creates an important base of knowledge and skills for organizing the activities of a modern enterprise. And training allows to provide the modern economist with necessary and sufficient skills for creation of preconditions of effective functioning of the enterprise. The discipline consists of two content modules: "Organizational structure of the enterprise and the implementation of its personnel and production activities" and "Ensuring commercial, logistical and financial activities of the enterprise."

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Case study, discussion - 20 points / 12 points; 2. Performing practical exercises - 20 points / 12 points; 3. Testing - 20 points / 12 points; 4. Modular test - 20 points / 12 points; 5. Final test - 20 points / 12 points. The final control is carried out in the form of a written test, which is evaluated with a maximum of 20 points and is conducted in one of the last seminars in the discipline. The final grade in the student's discipline is based on the results of work during the semester as the sum of points obtained during the academic semester, including points obtained for independent work and the final test.
