Learning outcomes
PLR 3. Know and use economic terminology, explain the basic concepts of micro- and macroeconomics. PLR 5. Apply analytical and methodological tools for justifying proposals and making managerial decisions by various economic agents (individuals, households, enterprises and public authorities). PLR 14. Identify and plan opportunities for personal professional development. PLR 17. Perform interdisciplinary analysis socio-economic phenomena and problems in one or several professional areas, taking into account the risks and possible socio-economic consequences. PLR 23. Show skills of independent work, demonstrate critical, creative, self-critical thinking.

1. Know: content of basic economic disciplines (economic theory, micro- and macroeconomics, statistics, etc.) 2. Be able to prepare presentations in the PP 3. Have basic skills of public speaking.
Course content
Theoretical and applied aspects of economic activity at levels of enterprises of all organizational and legal forms and forms of ownership Means are revealed and methods of decision-making in enterprises of different types and forms of ownership. The organizational and economic characteristics of the enterprise as a subject are considered management. Voluntary and institutional associations of enterprises. Market environment management of enterprises. Enterprise management. Functions, methods and basic types organizational management structures. Structure and indicators of staff movement. The resource provision of the enterprise activity is revealed; evaluation, classification and structure of fixed assets; efficiency of use of fixed assets of the enterprise; intangible resources and intangible assets of the enterprise; evaluation of effectiveness use of production investments; pay; enterprise cost management; assessment of the financial and economic condition of the enterprise.

Lecture, seminar, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Participation in the discussion at the seminar, performance of practical tasks, discussion of situational exercises, preparation and defense of independent work, modular tests, exam. Evaluation rules. 1. Participation in seminars (theoretical discussions, speeches, short surveys) (maximum / minimum) – 12 points / 7 points. 2. Testing (maximum / minimum) – 10 points / 6 points. 3. Problem solving (maximum / minimum) - 16 points / 10 points. 4. Preparation and defense of independent work of analytical and calculation nature, (maximum / minimum) – 20 points / 12 points. Evaluation in the form of final control work: maximum score - 100 points, boundary score - 60 points. Final assessment in the form of an exam.
