Learning outcomes
PLO 9. To analyze the functioning and development of economic entities, to determine the functional areas, to calculate the relevant performance indicators of their activities. PLO 12. Identify sources of information and understand the methodology for determining and methods of obtaining socio-economic data, collect and analyze the necessary information, calculate economic and social indicators. PLO 14. Perform research according to the order. PLO 16. Demonstrate basic skills of creative and critical thinking in research and professional communication.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: theoretical foundations of macro- and microeconomics, economic theory, investment, basic financial and economic indicators of the enterprise. 2. Have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and presentation of statistical data, work with the legal framework, use Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Course content
The essence of investment analysis in modern economic practice of enterprises, the main provisions of investment design, the principles of development and justification of projects. The basic principles of the concept of cost of capital in the investment analysis, methodical tools of an estimation of investment attractiveness of the enterprises are covered; modern calculation schemes for determining the economic efficiency of the investment project, methods of analysis of real investment projects in terms of risk are analyzed. The principles of formation and optimization of the portfolio of real investments of the enterprise, financial investment instruments of the institutional investor are revealed; features and tools of fundamental and technical analysis of enterprise investment. Methods for evaluating the effectiveness of the securities portfolio of an institutional investor and the organization of investment monitoring are covered.

The purpose of the discipline - to master a set of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of various areas of investment analysis of programs and projects of economic entities of different organizational and legal forms and industry affiliation
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: (max. Points 60 / min. Points 36) 1. Oral interview, discussion - 10 points / 6 points; 2. Solving problems - 20 points / 12 points; 3. Modular test - 20 points / 12 points; 4. Independent work - 10 points / 6 points. - final assessment in the form of an exam
