PLO1. Know and use economic terminology, explain the basic concepts of micro- and macroeconomics PLO5. Explain the models of socio-economic phenomena, guided by the fundamental principles and knowledge of the main directions of economic science PLO6. Apply appropriate economic-mathematical and statistical methods and models to solve economic problems PLO. Determine supply and demand in the labor market, analyze the structure of employment and unemployment

Full-time form

1. Know: the theoretical foundations and nature of the formation of socio-economic and demographic processes; methods of statistical collection, processing and analysis of mass data, methods of modeling and forecasting data, analysis of relationships, basics of programming, extras. 2. Have: skills of statistical observation, systematization and generalization of statistical data, statistical analysis, modeling and forecasting, statistical methods of software processing and data analysis, working with Windows software, MS Excel, PowerPoint, electronic means of visualization of statistical data, including including using Power BI, using Internet resources.

The content of the discipline is revealed in the following topics: methodological principles of social statistics, statistics of social composition of the population, statistics of households and family composition, statistics of employment and unemployment, statistics of household income and expenditure, statistics of consumption of material goods, statistics of living conditions and environment, health statistics I, statistics of education, statistics of social protection and social security, statistics of living standards.

The purpose of the discipline - the formation of students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills in statistical evaluation of social phenomena, analysis and modeling of social processes, analysis of patterns of human development. The educational task of the course is to study the basic methods and techniques of collecting, processing and analyzing statistical information on the socio-economic composition of the population and households, the nature of the formation and intensity of social processes, trends and prospects for their development.

Forms of student assessment: (max. Points 60 / min. Points 36) 1. Participation in laboratory classes (discussions, preparation and presentation of one theoretical question, practical exercises, problem solving, individual and group practical tasks, group project development, individual calculation and analytical task) - 10 points / 6 points 2. Modular test - 20 points / 12 points 3. Execution of 2 individual independent works - 15 points / 9 points each. - final assessment in the form of an exam
