PLO 1. Know and use economic terminology, explain the basic concepts of micro-and macroeconomics PLO 5. Explain the models of socio-economic phenomena, guided by the fundamental principles and knowledge of the main directions of economic science PLO 7. Understand the main features of the modern world and national economy, institutional structure, directions of social, economic and foreign economic policy of the state PLO 10. Be able to analyze the processes of state and market regulation of socio-economic and labor relations PLO 11. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and interpret the results
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of courses "Finance", "Marketing", "Business Statistics", "Statistical analysis of time series". 2. Know: theoretical and methodological foundations of enterprise finance and marketing, basic classifications of economic statistics, types of commodity markets. 3. Have the skills of statistical processing, analysis and visualization of data. In turn, knowledge of this discipline contributes to the successful completion of master's theses.
Course content
The curriculum consists of two content modules: Module 1 - methodological foundations of statistics of commodity markets, which considers: the subject, method and main objectives of market statistics of goods and services; statistical study of commodity markets; statistical study of supply and demand; statistics of trade flows. Module 2 - statistical evaluation and analysis of commodity markets includes: statistical study of the structure and behavior of consumers and producers; statistical study of the movement of goods and services in the domestic and foreign markets; market infrastructure statistics; statistics of socio-economic efficiency of market processes.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The purpose of the discipline - the formation of students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills for quantitative assessment of socio-economic phenomena and processes, namely methods of obtaining, processing and analysis of statistical information about phenomena and processes occurring in the market of goods and services
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: (max. 100 points / min. 60 points) - performance of practical exercises during laboratory classes -40 points / 26 points; - 2 control modular works - 5 points each, together - 20 points / 10 points; - preparation and presentation of an individual project - 20 points / 12 points.
